We first had to color the cats. We put on glow in the dark paint. -Cheeseburger

Our Halloween cats are cool. We did glow paint on it and it looks cool. -Salmon

At the Gizdich Ranch we went into the big refrigerator. We got to pick sweet and sour apples. - Ramen

We got to pick apples and we got to eat apples. We were able to drink apple juice and we had slushies in the car. - Blue Pixie Stick

Well, it was awesome and we got to sing at Gizdich Ranch. It took a lot of time to get there. -Bagels and Cream Cheese

Mr. Bones

Mr. Bones
We made Mr. Bones with paper and we put plastic on it. Ten made their Mr. Bones into Mrs. Bones and twelve kept them as Mr. Bones. -Hot Sauce

I put a bow on my Mr. Bones. We had to do a lot of work. -French Fries

We made Mr. Bones out of bones. My Mr. Bones has tatoos on him. - Popcorn

We made our own skeletons. We made googley eyes on him. - Green Eggs and Ham

Candy Corn More or Less

First, I made up a number and it was 855. Then I added 100 more and it was 955. Then, I did 100 less. The answer is 785. The math was called candy corn math. - Blackberry

I chose the number 483 for my candy corn number. If I had 100 less the number would be 383. -Jelly Roll

The candy corn math was very fun. My number was 133. - Ice Cream Sundae

My haunted house has a mummy sticking his head out of the glass pane. There is also a witch on top of the roof. -Mac and Cheese

We traced our haunted houses with sharpie. Then we colored it. We then wrote about our haunted house. -Dessert

My haunted house is a funny house. My house has creatures which are funny. -Lollipop

My monster is so cute! He is also very small for a monster. -Vanilla Ice Cream

I made a small picture but it had lots of pieces to glue. I made mine into Frankenstein. -Eggs

 

Apple Place Value

We practiced our place value in math by making apples. First, we chose a number which was at least two digits. Then, we wrote the number four different ways using expanded form, tally marks, addition sentences and tens and ones block drawings. We cut up our apples and made them into puzzles. It was a fun math review.
