President Reports

President Reports
We spent a lot of time in the month of February learning about the presidents. We used our president apps to help us research the life of a president and then we completed a fact book about him. At the end of the report we made these cute president fact sheets. -2LC foodies

Leprechauns

Leprechauns
A fun project we did in class for March was to make leprechauns. They each have their own personalities and are so fun as a decoration for St. Patrick's Day! -2LC Foodies

March Dr Seuss Bracket

March Dr Seuss Bracket
We read 8 different Dr. Seuss books for March Madness. Then after each book battle, we had to go to the quizziz app and answer comprehension questions and vote for our favorite. We loved seeing who won the battle and the final vote! -2LC foodies

Look Who Came to Dinner

Look Who Came to Dinner
We talked about what we would do if Jesus came to our house for dinner. We had to write a paragraph that talked about what the house would look like, what we would wear, what we would serve and what we would do after dinner with Jesus. Some of the things Jesus would eat were hamburgers and hotdogs and sometimes steak and bread. He also would be able to play video games, go swimming and have a disco party. He was also asked to change the water to wine! We draw him at our table when we completed the writing. -2LC foodies

Leprechaun Pot of Gold Math

Leprechaun Pot of Gold Math
We finished our unit on learning about coins. Then, we created leprechauns and used paper coins to create our own pots of gold. We had to add up the amount in our pot. It was fun to color the leprechauns, watercolor the background and add up the coins. -2LC foodies

Leprechaun in a Jar

Leprechaun in a Jar

We created stories that were at least 12 sentences long! We had to write about how we would catch a leprechaun and place him in  jar! Then, after writing, editing an rewriting our stories we were able to create our caught leprechauns. We were very creative with our work! -2LC foodies
