Baptism Books

Baptism Books

Our parents surprised us by creating books about our baptism. We had been learning about the sacrament in class and all of the symbols that go along with baptism. We have been  sharing the books each day with our classmates and love seeing the memories of the special day.

Pilgrims

Pilgrims

After reading about the lives of the pilgrims we created pilgrims of our own. We had fun learning about their lives and the clothes they had to wear. They both wore stockings and also had only one pair of shoes!

We created turkeys and then used our great math addition and subtraction skills to create word problems in the feathers. They are on our " math-terpiece" board in our classroom.  -2LC foodies

Saints

Saints

We did a research project about the lives of the saints. We are each a saint for our play this month. We read about our saint's life, created a fact page and then wrote a paragraph about his/ her life. We drew a picture of our saint to go with our writing. We cannot wait for our play! -2LC foodies

The Life of the Pilgrims

The Life of the Pilgrims

The pilgrims had a very hard life. We read many books about the pilgrims and then we wrote about what the pilgrim boys and girls had to do each day! They had to stand when they ate, do so many chores and learn how to read only at night from their parents. We created pictures of the pilrims to go with our writing.   -2LC foodies
